I ran for their lives!

On Saturday, I ran 50km to raise £50k to help protect persecuted animals.

It was a crucial challenge because at 7am, exactly the same time I started running to protect animals, the Devon & Somerset Staghounds held their first meet of the season.

When I finally crossed the finish line, after 7 hours and 11 minutes, I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. The rush of emotions was overwhelming. My body had taken some punishment, but I would recover, unlike the 1000s of animals that are still killed by hunts every year.
